Whits band, no news, no interviews, no gigs, no demos... nothing other than a small bit of info on the members, are they even still a band?
what does everyone think? is anyone else nervous?

I hope it doesn't take 2+1/2 years again till you finally hear something of them... And this time I won't even find something about them as long as they are not in the press. I think Whit had his big time in UKJ, and it will never be this way again. I wonder if HE still believes that he will once have big success again?

Im not sure he ever wanted 'big' success, I always seem to think he's happy as long as he can tour and put music out, Im pretty sure he'd like a little more success than what he had with Med but I dont think he wants to be UKJ big again...
Has he ever talked about this in an interview?

Yeah, he said something like this... that his mother didn't believe that this could happen again, but he always did.
Let me search...

ok... well if Whit is after the big time again I really do hope it happens for him, but its so hard to break the mainstreem and all it brings you is more money, the fans are no better, if anything you just get more banwaggan hoppers than anything

Well, he said once that success meant for him to sell as many records that you are able to make another record. I don't think that he earned much money from touring with LOA, and he certainly didn't keep much money from Medication. So yeah, I mean success in the way as he had with UKJ.
If he wouldn't care for money (which would be silly IMO BTW), Medication could have had a record deal much earlier I think. There must have been quite a couple of record companies that were interested in them.

I was never sure about his financial situation, but he says so, and I'm inclined to believe him. I don't care for his money BTW (I will never get to know him closer anyway), but when UKJ broke apart, I was really worried that he would disappear forever (having any boring job and so on). I'm happy that this has not happened so far.

You're not on you're own there, so far i don't think he's done that badly! ok he's not had any commercial success but LOA were/are a great band, it was never gonna work because keith is so important to LOA, but i thought Whit was much better live than Keith... and well we all know how good +med+ were!

^ 666th post. How evil! I was utterly happy with Whit in LOA. Too bad it didn't work out... And I hoped for so much of Medication... but in a way it simply wasn't what I was hoping for . I could have lived very well with Medication nevertheless!
